10 Months and Counting...
Yes, you read right. I am officially posting twice in one month! Has to be some sort of record. And, oddly enough, this post has landed on another anniversary - MINE! Today marks 13 years of weddedness (is that a word?) to the same man...at least I think he is. He is starting to remind me more and more of his own dad....
World's worst blogger updater reporting - it has been literally months later since my last post. I am now 28 weeks pregnant...finally hit the 7 month mark. And boy do I feel it! The neat thing is that thanks to MONTHS of NAUSEA, I technically haven't gained any weight yet!! Well, I haven't yet reached my pre-pregnant weight proportions. I thought this was good news - my doctor thinks otherwise. It is funny to actually be scolded as to not having gained enough weight!! This will probably be the ONLY time in my life that I hear that, so yes, I am relishing the moment.
I was told that my last post's title evoked a question. 9 months later... is it possible that I might be in the "family way"? If I was going to put a title to that, I would have to say something more like "8 Months from Now". Yes, I have have a very tiny bun (more like a bread crumb) in the oven! I found out yesterday that I am roughly 7 weeks preggo!! We told the kids, who were elated, and of course Mam-Maw (Shae's mom) was ecstatic.
No, the last virus I wrote about did not kill us all out. We are, in fact, very much alive and growing by leaps and bounds...
Well, dearest cousins, it seems as though we have all hit a blogging plateau...where is everybody? Please come back and blog, blog, blog.

Pink Eye!?! Yes, far be it from us to have a "normal" Christmas season. After all the hoopla (?) and merriment, which Lance so kindly blogged for us all, Gabriel decided enough drama wasn't had. He awoke a day after Christmas with weepy eyes which quickly turned in to no eyes in sight, just crud. For those of you who have had conjunctivitis, you know it is a nasty, gooey, gunky affair. Highly contagious, too. Lovely...

I have a few C'mas pics, too. These may shed some light on who exactly, Lance, was hording the presents...
Mere minutes ago, while trying to pull the 9 ft. C'mas tree out of storage, a low beam cracked into my head causing me to bite my blasted lip. Maybe it was the other way around. Either way, my head is almost mush front and center and my lip is bleeding. Oh, the joys of decor....I bet some C'mas pictures are just around the corner.
Yes, that time of the year has arrived when I dust off the C'mas cd's and start dragging the decorations out of storage. I am running about a week behind, but have finally started decorating. 4 trees went up today; 3 more to go. I have to remind Shae that this is the ONLY holiday I decorate for...
I was a little startled myself to see that I have posted nothing since the first of November. What in the world? Not surprising, really. I DO work from dawn til dusk (something like that) most days, and I do relish my sleep. So, that doesn't leave a whole lot of time for blogging. Actually, nothing all that exciting has been happening (except for Thanksgiving, of course). I still have indigestion from that one. Other than the spiral sliced ham getting a little "done" on top, the meal was excellent.
Yesterday got off to a beautiful albeit chilly day. We got out to our old house about 8:30 a.m. and started to work on the monumental task of "unloading" the outbuilding. We had several friends stop by (yes we have a few) and rummage through our cast away belongings. It should have been a little sad watching mounds of baby clothes go home with other people, but really I was just happy to be rid of them. They have been in storage for years; it is about time someone can get some use out of them.
Yes, I bought "Nach0" at Wal-mart last Friday and then patiently waited almost a week to be able to watch it with Lance and gang. My cheeks (face ones) are still hurting from all the uproarious laughter...so now, after all the anticipation, life is sort of hollow. But we'll be okay - after all, I do own it now :)
What a weekend! I started it off with completely rearranging the kitchen pantry (you guys got me in the mood with all the home improvement talk). I even found some boxes left to unpack leftover from a year ago. Exciting! Then we were off to a chilly night of hayrides, 4-wheelers, hot dogs, chili, hot chocolate and wonderful toasted marshmallows at Shae's sister's farm. We all managed to stay ON the hayride (as opposed to my first hayride experience years ago...), and returned home mostly unscathed, albeit a little sticky here and there...
Not much to report on this week so far. We currently have no home improvement projects going on :), we have no stray pets wandering around (they'd be shot) and, for that matter, I haven't even earned "another dollar". On the upside, everyone is getting over their "nastiness" of the last 2 weeks. Yeah! And hopefully, I have gotten rid of the ever present "Pfieffer Family" scattered all over the blog. We'll see...I am looking forward to watching the extremely stupid (yet somehow fascinating) movie "Nacho Libre" with Lance and the crew. Next time I travel to Wal-Mart, that movie will be mine! Woo-hoo! Until next time...
Well, that was weird. I published a post on my blog and it showed up on Pam's...??? Help!
How many times does "Pfieffer Family" appear on this page? A prize to the first one to come back with an accurate count...really, what is going on? I am surrounded by Pfieffer Family!! My own name is starting to look misspelled...
